As you all know, our community has been deeply impacted by a tragic accident this past weekend that resulted in the loss of one of our former baseball players, Chase Luck.  The Luck family was an integral part of our league for many years as all three brothers played ball, and Josh and Lauren served on our board.  We are also aware that many of our league families are very close to the Lucks and Amicks and will be attending funeral services and offering condolences in the days to come.  Louisa Little League wants to make sure that we allow everyone to focus their time and emotions where it is most important, and as such we will be suspending all league activities this weekend.  As an entire league, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to the Luck and Amick families as they mourn the loss of their son.  Chase was a wonderful young man and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.   

Regarding tryouts:

Tryouts are now moved to Saturday March 11.  All times and locations will remain the same as were previously scheduled for March 4.  Again, there will be NO TRYOUT this Saturday.  Teams will be drafted March 12 and practices will begin sometime the week of March 12.
