Baseball & Softball Evaluations
Dates: Saturday, February 15th & 22nd
Location: METAL GYM behind Louisa County Middle School
1009 Davis Hwy, Mineral, VA 23117
*ALL Baseball players not already drafted to a Major League team MUST attend at least ONE evaluation day.
*ALL Softball players MUST attend at least ONE evaluation day.
Players are allowed to attend both evaluation days.
If your child is a returning player to Baseball and was drafted to a Major league team in SPRING 2024, they DO NOT need to attend evaluations. They will remain on the same team for the 2025 Spring Season.
Please note, evaluations will be INSIDE. CLEATS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. Have your child wear sneakers and bring a bat, helmet and glove. If you do not have these items, we will have extras there for your child to use. Please let us know this when you check in.
You will also need to bring a completed medical release form. Your child will not be able to participate in evaluations unless this form is completed. We will have extras at evaluations for you to complete if you are unable to print.
If your child would like to be evaluated for pitching or catching, they will have the opportunity to do so during evaluations. If you have your own catcher's gear, please bring it.
Please plan to arrive at your Check-In time to ensure each group starts on time.
Evaluation times will be based on league age for the 2025 Spring Season and are as follows:

SENIOR LEAGUE:
At this time, we have enough kids to make 1 Senior League Baseball Team and 1 Senior League Softball Team. We are extending registration for Senior League Baseball & Senior League Softball until Friday, February 28th. Please spread the word to get more kids to sign up! We will be reaching out with more information regarding Senior League teams after the 28th.
Pee Wee League, Minor League and Major League Coaches, both baseball and softball, will be contacting all players by March 1st with practice information. If you have not heard from your coach by March 1st, please let us know.
If any changes are made to this evaluation schedule due to weather, we will send out another email and post on our Facebook page.
